The Irish have yet to beat Spain in a major international competition, but it looks like they’re doing well in their quest for a fifth European crown.
And the last time they were beaten in a World Cup was in 1990, when they were knocked out in the quarter-finals in Athens.
But it would have been a very different result for the Irish had they beaten the Spain in the last-16 of the Euro 2008 tournament in Italy, when there were just a few thousand spectators.
The tournament was not played in a group stage, so the final was not an easy one for the Ireland to overcome.
They did so in the group stage by beating the Czech Republic, but were knocked down in the quarters and eliminated from contention.
There were rumours Ireland would not qualify for the next World Cup if they did not win the tournament, but the Irish managed to secure a spot in the final.
They went on to lose to Belgium in the semi-finals and, after beating Spain 2-0 in the semifinal, it would be hard to imagine them missing out on a place in the next tournament.
It is no surprise that the Ireland squad is not as strong as in 2010, when the squad was considered to be one of the world’s best, with two players from the last World Cup winning caps, both with Ireland.
Injuries to Ryan Coogley, Kieran Tierney and Conor Hourihane, and some players such as Liam Fulton and Kieran Marmion have hindered the Ireland side in recent years.
However, the squad is still strong, with Tierney, Tierney (who played in all but three of Ireland’s group games), Tierney in particular, and Marmions in particular being among the most experienced players in the squad.
Ireland have a young team and there is some talent at every position, but they are not considered to have a good squad at the moment.
They are still considered to not have a great chance of reaching the final, but there is a chance they could still progress if they lose the quarter final to Spain.
They face Germany in the first round, but their last match against Italy is not a big deal and is probably a good chance for the team to rest up and prepare for the game.
It would be a massive blow to Ireland to lose the match, as they would be playing in the World Cup for the first time since 1999.
The Ireland squad could be very strong in the tournament.
It would also be a big blow for the players.
There is a lot of talent in the team and they have all been capped.
The players, who have not been playing since October, have been working on their form and have shown a lot more confidence and will definitely be more competitive than the team they are playing.
When you play against Germany in a friendly and the teams are very similar, they are both very good and they know how to play against each other.
The biggest threat to Ireland is the Spanish side, and they could come out of the tournament with a lot to prove.
The tournament could go either way for Ireland.
The Germans are very strong and they will be playing the toughest side in Europe, so they could easily get a shock victory.
However, it is still very much up to the Irish.
The Spanish are the only team in Europe who have beaten Ireland at the European Championships and they are favourites to win it.
A loss to the Germans would leave Ireland without a major trophy, and the Irish could not afford to go down without a fight.
Ireland are in a very tough spot, having already lost two games against Spain, and it is very unlikely they can get a second win against the Germans in the competition.
